Lately my daughter has been choosing non-fiction books for her daily reading homework. Today it was this one - Cats and Kittens. It's a great book for kids about the care and keeping of a new kitten, well-written with darling photos. The downside is that she's now wanting a kitten. It's the first time that she's expressed interest in a new kitty since our beloved Rudy passed away last fall. There's also a "Dogs and Puppies" book in this series ... gotta keep that one away from her, wink!Monday, January 19, 2009
Day 19. Favoring non-fiction
Lately my daughter has been choosing non-fiction books for her daily reading homework. Today it was this one - Cats and Kittens.
