We got another dumping of snow on Monday. It was very very pretty, and I thoroughly enjoyed it while looking at it out the window, but getting to and from school and work was, well, less than enjoyable. The roads were horribly slick. It took me 3 times longer than normal to get home. But once here, DD's first order of business was to jump out of the car, jump into the snow, and make snow angels. Brrrr. Ah, to be a happy-go-lucky, carefree child!
Alas, my Texas girls have never had the thrill of making a snow angel. The closest we get is when we have an ice day and can scrap a few bits of frost and crystals together to make a very small and pathetic snowman. Enjoy your snow angels!

ReplyDeleteWhat fun! It has either been way to cold or our snow has nice thick coating of ice on it so no snow angels yet here. Hopefully we will get to do a few before the winter is up.
ReplyDeleteThe weather hasn't cooperated here either. It's been very cold when we've had snow. But we need to get that done in one of our next snows no matter what...because Haoyi's never made a snow angel.
